Ooh…Mother fucka said Ice Cream!!!!!!

With the help of designer Claudio Colucci, Mövenpick, a Swiss ice-cream manufacturer, came up with the idea of the Ice Lounge…the Ice Lounge is a luxurious seat made especially to enhance the pleasures of a truly delightful ice cream. The comfortable cocoon relaxes the mind and the body of the eater so that he is able to better appreciate the nuances of the different flavors. The lounge also contains an in-built music system that allows connoisseurs to enjoy their fav tunes along with the sugary delights as well as the benefits of Chromotherapy. A small central table allows ice cream maniacs to stack up helpings of their fav mixes and discover many new dimensions of flavors.

Damn, for some reason DQ just doesn’t have the same appeal anymore…

Franklin Parrasch Gallery – Everything Else

A new exhibit called “Everything Else” just opened at the Franklin Parrasch Gallery in NYC.  Featuring work from artists such as Kaws, Misaki Kawai, Jesse Wines, Anthony Campuzano, and several others, its definitely one to check out.  I know I’ll be hitting this up when I go out east in August!

Sidenote: I would kill to have that 4 ft. Kaws companion in my living room!

Hedi Slimane’s “Rock Diary”

This beautifully designed three volume-boxed set presents new photographic work by Hedi Slimane, the iconic fashion designer who, during tenures at Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior, has infused men’s fashion with an androgynous, rock n’ roll swerve…The first volume is an album of Slimane’s photographs of the Lollapalooza-esque three-day Festival Internacional de Benicássim on the East coast of Spain, the second is devoted to images of the new British and American rock scenes and the third contains essays on Slimane’s work by art critic Vince Aletti and music critic Jon Savage.
