Recently, the architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, responsible for the “bird’s nest” Olympic Stadium in Beijing, revealed their plans for a 57-story building of irregularly-stacked flats at 56 Leonard St. in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood.
