Karl Lagerfeld’s Custom Louis Vuitton iPod Trunk

As you may know, Louis Vuitton has a program set up allowing customers to order custom-made trunks to fit their specific needs.  One example that has garnered some attention lately is the custom iPod trunk the French fashion house created for Chanel kingpin and legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld.  Made of LV’s black Taiga leather with brass fittings and a red microfiber interior, the trunk contains an interior case which holds 20 iPods (!!!) and a power charger. There are compartments for JBL iPod speakers and subwoofer, and Lagerfeld’s initials are stamped in red near the handle.

This reminds me of that scene in the Lagerfeld Confidential  DVD (which if yall haven’t seen I highly recommend) showing all his different iPods scattered about his dresser, must have been like 15…If anyone needs a case that can hold 20 iPods it’s definitely him!
