House Ocho – Feldman Architecture

This house in the Santa Lucia Mountains of Carmel, California, was designed by the San Francisco based Feldman Architecture.  It was completed in 2004, and in 2007 it received an Energy and Sustainability Honor award from the American Institute of Architects for its use of passive solar heating and living roofs which makes the home extremely energy efficient.
